BlueCare was built by people with an unwavering commitment to going where help was needed and improving the lives of older people.

This year marks BlueCare’s 70th year of service, delivering the care and support Queenslanders need, and empowering clients and residents to live life their way.

I want all our people to take some time to consider where we have come from, and the many steps along the way that have helped shape BlueCare into one of Queensland’s largest and most trusted providers of in-home care, residential aged care, disability services, and retirement living.

I consider myself extremely fortunate to have spent 20 years working as a part of this wonderful team. I am still regularly surprised by the actions our people take, both big and small, bringing comfort, joy, and connection into the lives of our residents and clients. While our facilities, employees, and clients have all changed over the years, what remains consistent is the feeling that we are all a part of something special.

The work our people do at BlueCare, whether they are serving our residents and clients from the frontline or our offices, really does impact so many for the better. Whether it is bringing warmth and laughter to a client in their final days, providing families with the confidence and comfort of knowing their loved one is in safe hands, or even just letting a team member know we are there for them, thank you for everything you do.

To each and every one of you who have served alongside us at BlueCare, whether past or present, thank you for choosing to be a part of this wonderful organisation that means so much to so many across Queensland.
