How to access support at home

Step 1: My Aged Care Assessment
My Aged Care is the Federal Government agency responsible for allocating funding for home care support to older Australians. You can get started with My Aged Care in one of three ways:
- Call 1800 200 422
- Visit My Aged Care website
- Contact a care provider such as BlueCare (1300 258 322) who can help guide you through the options and link you with My Aged Care.

Step 2: Receive funding
There are two funding options and each have a different assessment process. One funding type can commence straight away and the other allocates a package level that has a national queue.
