In home care, an aged care workers’ duties and responsibilities might include domestic tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, meal preparation, cleaning indoor windows, washing dishes, changing bed linen, washing clothes, ironing, cleaning bathrooms and fridges. Outside the home, personal carers might provide social support, such as shopping, banking, and taking clients to appointments.
BlueCare Personal Carers will assist with hygiene, such as showering, dressing, grooming, mobility and eating and drinking, as well as supporting clients to participate in community activities and attend appointments.
As a BlueCare Personal Carer you will play a key part in observing any changes or concerns with your clients’ health, wellbeing or behaviour.

We need Personal Carers in a variety of locations and ideally you can work with clients in your neighbourhood. During the application process we ask where you live and match you to a nearby neighbourhood.
Yes. You need to have a full drivers licence and an insured car.
We provide a comprehensive orientation and onboarding experience and also offer a Personal Carer Traineeship Program. You can complete your Certificate 3 Individual Support.
